Rob glad you all got back safe and sound. That had to be brutal for the littlest one. Like the other said gives you hope,since so many stopped to help. I must say I was surprised the officer left you out there. I suppose they have rules they must follow.
SchoolsOut1, I was up there all fri and sat and for sure did not see this boat on the rocks one time and I was up and down that dyke several times over those 2 days. Theres no way I missed it either lol. Rob , glad you and your fam are ok!

No one got cited. Officer said since there were no witnesses he couldn’t. Other guy said he had a green arrow which was impossible since I had a green light. It was one of those turn lanes that had a green arrow and a green light with a sign that said left turn yields on green.

Glad that had a happy ending Rob! I avoid roads and rivers and the 4th, I can go on the 7th and have more fun.
Raymond sent me this picture from the 4th. Bluffton, SC. The boat was tied up sloppily to a dock and left for too long. Tide went out and the T-top hung up on the fixed pier of dock. Boat was left hanging by the top. It trashed the top, ripped it completely loose from the deck, ripped the console completely loose from the deck, ripped out all wiring and control cables. Boat is a total loss. Cost of repairs is higher than the boat value.
