Anyone one here do sand blasting?

I’m starting to work on the other Super 7 project and would like to get the frame sandblasted. Right now it is painted with yellow rustoleum and looks like crap… want to go back to bare metal and give it a proper paint job before I start assembly

If you don’t find a sandblaster, a wire disk on an angle grinder can make quick work of Rustoleum. Or an air-driven DA sander with sandpaper. I sanded the front quarter panel of my truck from “rusty” down to “shiney metal” with 2 sandpaper pads in about 6 minutes.

Saying “I am offended” is telling everyone else that you cannot control your own emotions, and thus you need everyone else to do it for you.

Most any monument company do sandblasting

I have rented one before. Do ya’ll have a Sunbelt Rental down there?

Just trying to funnel some business to a forum member. This would be an easy sand blast job, but a PITA to do with a sander.
