I have been hunting twice or thrice a week for the past 3 weeks and haven’t seen squat! My trail cams have been showing them all feeding at night. During the day it’s just been squirrels and the occasional crow. What have ya’ll been seeing?

Saturday- saw 5 does in the am (830-9am), and 7 does in the evening.
Tuesday- pm- got there late, saw 4 does and a button head.
Wednesday-pm- Saw 3 does in the food plot, 15 in the dove field. My buddy down the rd saw 15, and he had 3 people hunting with him, all of which killed a doe.
Deer movement has been good the past 2 weeks.

same thing…squirrels, birds, and shrinking corn pile but likely due to deer at night.
1/2 the time I’m seeing deer, the other 1/2 of time I’m seeing squirrels and turkeys…

in the last 2 weeks i have only seen 3 does, which i let walk, which i am kinda regretting. hunting tonight at a new spot hopefully things will change.
walked in at 545 and no tracks on the edge of the woods. walked out at about 10 and looked like 3 different sets went through a pile of acorns. sitting up a tree will be like a free roller coaster, but time to make it less than 3 sets tonight

Squirrel hunted some property in walterboro yesterday before our dovehunt today. walking through the woods and saw a 6pt buck walk through. Also saw a BIG hog during the dove hunt there.

its not over til its over! not the biggest one in the world but i took a doe 2 days ago literally as soon as there was enough light to see my sight bead but fresh jerky in the dehydrator and summer sausage in an gas grill rigged ONN style to be a “smoker” for christmas couldnt ask for much better.
Put a good friend of mines child in the stand Saturday evening. Dropped him off, and before I could drive to my stand he pulled a Partners-Ship(missed that is) on a nice buck. I had given him clearance to shoot whatever he wanted and as many as he wanted since he moved and cant go near as much as he used to. I didnt see a thing(first skunk in over a month) and my buddy KC saw 15 or 20 and killed a nice buck (woulda been a 10 but had broken brows). Just walked in the house from a little stroll in the woods and ended up seeing 14 total, could have killed half of them. Back at it Wednesday.
