Anyone seen this before?

Was out watching the supermoon Friday evenin, saw something I have never seen before in 30 plus years of being on the lowcountry water. A dolphin was in the marsh grass tailing like a redfish. It would stand on its face with its tail in the air and feed. Wouldn’t believe it unless I saw it for myself. Watched it for 15-20 minutes. Has anyone else ever seen this? I’m guess the tide was so high the dolphin was able to access the flat. The low light and Iphone camera could not capture a good picture.

Probably catching crabs . I have seen them do this in Yellowhouse creek at Bushy Park. Seen them putting their noses in the pluffmud around where fiddler crabs are.

They occasionally come up into a gutter creek behind us but only once past that into the flat it drains This time last year, watched one all the way up back of the flat. Huge commotion -took a while to recognize that there were two, tailing of sorts.

Opportunistic feeders.

I’ve seen them do that in Clark Sound and seen then beach themselves on mud banks. Cool to see.
