Anyone using a Penn 965 or 975?

My current setup is a Penn Fierce 3000 on a 6’6" Medium Action Ugly Stick Lite. I am looking to build a second rod because all I have is the one. Does anyone use these reels and what do you have it mounted on? It been a while since I threw a baitcaster. I was told that these reels last forever if you take care of them. I am mostly looking to target Reds in creeks and bays, so I am leaning more towards the 965.

I use the 965 i love it, its a great reel sturdy and poweerful for inshore. i have mine mounted on a 7 foot medium heavy tiger ugly stick. i use it mostly for reds and sharks

That sounds like a perfect setup for bottom fishing. The only bad thing I’ve heard about these reels is that the button sticks if you cast with more than an oz or two of lead weight. Have you ever had any issues?
