I’ve been catching them steady, and my friend just called after limiting for the thrid day in a row. I’ve got to help with VBS at church next week and looks like if I dont head out in the morning I’ll have to wait two weeks to go again. So if anyone wants to get up I have room for one more. God Bless, Coach B

Shame no one responded… we put in around 6:30-7 and limited out before 9:30am. God Bless, Coach B

What were they hitting? Cut bait or FL?
Hey coach where are you putting in at?
Double J
CoachB…boy I missed that post…I would have jumped at the chance to fish with you…save me a spot on the next trip…I need to learn about the stripers in Lake Murray…
thanks,
SanteeCarl
MAN IF I HAD SEEN THAT POST EARLIER I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO GO. I LIVE ON MURRAY AND AM HAVING A TOUGH TIME TRYING TO FIND THEM RIGHT NOW. LET ME KNOW THE NEXT TIME YOU ARE GOING AND I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN
In Japan, you have no idea what they are saying, and they can’t help you either. Nothing makes any sense. They’re very polite, but you feel like a joke is being played on you the entire time you’re there.
Hey guys, It’s all good… it was kind of a last minute thing, but I am sure I will be back out at them soon. I will be helping with VBS next week, but I might even go after that just after noon one day. For those who brave the crazy water of the weekend… try live bait in 40-60 feet on down rods. Don’t make the mistake of anchoring… let your bait move and just direct your boat in straight lines. Now I know this might get you in a few tangles but it makes your bait have a better presentation. Also don’t fret if the water gets a little rough because think of what that is doing to your bait… its making it move and folks FYI Striper are aggressive and like to hit moving targets. Another thing… if your not already doing so pick up some fluorocarbon line for leader and try size 2-4 hooks instead of the ever popular 1… Vanish will work fine as your leader. If you need anything extra as far as hints or suggestions stop in and see Richard/Donna and the guys at Lake World just on the Lexington side of the Dam. If they don’t know it about fishing this lake you don’t need it. I have been putting in at the Dam… lol I’m not paying Archie at Jakes or anyone else $5-$10 for a landing fee when I can do it free or for $3 at the Dam… that’s just dumb and on a teachers salary I can’t afford it. I’ll make a post soon about heading out and looking for someone to go… so keep an eye out on this site.
God Bless, Coach B
Two farmers pray for rain… only One then gets his fields ready. Which are you?
