Anyone willing to help a newbie

Im a newbie in offshore and inshore fishing on a boat wonderin if there is anyone out there willing to teach me some stuff. Dont want to know any top secret spots. Just techniques, rigs, stuff to look for etc… Have read alot of books but none of them actually tell you how to do things…like how to use planers, trolling, downriggers, deep bottom fishing, etc…so i am kinda clueless. Would be willing to chip on a boat and for the time and advice. Any takers email me please.

Let me know if you need more help. You can email me if you have certain questions. I’ll be glad to help you out. I was there once…about twenty years ago, but I could give you some easy answers and probably make it easy for you to learn and most of all fun. It’s like golf, it’s the few little things that count.

Thanks Everyone for the responses and the emails to help out. Its good to know that there is still some good fishermen and fisherwomen that remember that everyone has to start somewhere.
