My wifes birthday is coming up and I would love to surprise her this coming weekend by going off shore. Is anyone able to let us tag along weather permitting? she has no idea i’m doing this, and it would be our first time offshore ever. I’m willing to help out with fuel beer bait etc. Let me know

I think Schoolsout means a forecast 6 days out isn’t even worth what you paid for it.
You see good conditions 6 days out, plan to stay home. Bad forecast that far out you might have a chance. But they can tell us what the weather will be 100 years out?

Man Larry, I guess we all make rookie mistakes at times when it comes to our wives.
One time years ago, my Dad bought a Belgian Browning .22 rifle after my mother told him not to because he didn’t need anymore guns. He hid it but she found it. He fibbed and told her it was her birthday present. She quietly took it and hid it for nearly 10 years. Every now and then my Dad would ask about it and she would say, “it’s mine and it’s been put away”. He never saw it again until she passed away and we found it going through stuff. He learned his lesson.

well Gents I did say weather permitting, and if this weekend isn’t good maybe the next weekend. She is interested in fishing deep water for the experience. Im just looking for a way out there (when weather is stable). I’ve already bought her a vacuum cleaner, a rug doctor, a swifter wet jet, and new rubber gloves. She couldn’t be more happy with her cleaning closet, but now is time to fish haha!
