Probably a stupid question, but I was wondering if any of the bait shops or seafood stores in town carry mullet or menhaden. I really need to buy and learn how to throw a cast net but I have family in town with their boat and we just need an easy way to get some. Thanks!
Menhaden, no. Mullet - everywhere. Chances are if it says “bait” they will have frozen cob and 12 ct mullet. I think even some Wallyworlds have them.

You can get mullet anywhere. Actually cut mullet works pretty well for reds this time of the year. Haddrells Mt. P even has a vending machine outside that sells frozen bait if you need something after hours.
