Fishing a creek in the Wando when I see a Sea Hunt center console up in the marsh grass with (apparently) no one aboard. I’m working down the bank on the trolling motor towards the boat. After about 15 mins. I’ve still seen no one on the boat, and by now I’m only about 20 yards away. Thought maybe someone had fallen over, so I got close enough to investigate. Looked over the gunwhale, and…uh… there were people onboard. Two actually, although I could only see one, or at least their backside. My bad. They were as surprised as I was.

Sounds like the makings of a good contest. A free six pack of Bonzo’s favorite beer to the winner. I can afford it, he drinks cheap beer.

From time to time someone starts a thread to discuss the definition of A Local. I think it is safe to say, “If you were conceived on the deck of a CC parked up in the marsh. YOU are A Local!”
