are the reds tailing?

I know that this recent cold weather has probably affected the bite that everyone has been talking about. I am just curious if anyone has been seeing any reds tailing on the flats?

I’ve seen a few cruising fish in the short grass at high tide, but have not witnessed true tailing behavior yet around here.

In Savannah, yes.

It doesn’t get really good until the water temp heats up quite a bit. By June/July its on fire. You can find them on the flats year round cruising, but the true tailing is not here yet.

If I get murdered in the city, don’t go revenging in my name…

Thanks for the ■■■■■■■■. I’ve heard rumors that its started so I wanted to see if other people have experienced anything.

This guy has more posts than anyone, so his word is law…

Other than that, if we’ve had a warm April, start looking for tailers on good flood tides. Especially on mid day highs.

seent one doing a headstand a couple weeks ago actually but they are right 70F in the harbor seems to be the green light for widespread tailing. otherwise its too spotty to target.

I hear they reset your post count every time you get band*, so there’s that…

I saw one tailing in the grass last week, but I dont think it was true tailing. He was just muddling in shallow water

If I see a tail out of the water, I consider it tailing. That’s true.

Is this tailing? :stuck_out_tongue:

Buddy just caught a red on topwater yesterday. I know that’s not tailing but they are definitely eating like crazy right now.
