Friend of mine had two kayak at his work, never yak before but yak fishing seem like a great sport. took both yak and work the arms a little to get the feel of it to see how it feels…man kayaking is FUN 
but my arm and back took a work out [:0]. my Q’s to all kayak member is…do u have to have a fishing lic to fish?, do you have to wear life vest on all time, what are other rules i need to know before i really get into it?

In SC, if your in a “boat” you have to have a license, either freshwater, saltwater…or both. You have to have a LifeJacket, but it doesn’t have to be worn (unless that was changed after those dumb a$$e$ in Little Capers…), but if your smart…you’ll wear it (so get a good one that’s comfortable), a whistle …and a paddle (incase your in one of those “Pedalcrafts”…they do breakdown, …so you have to have a paddle, even if your not using it 
). Before sunrise and after sunset, you need a 360 degree white light. Plus if your paddlin’ with your arms, your paddlin’ wrong.
That’s OK, we all start out paddlin’ wrong.. Then of course, if your kayak fishin’, you have to be able to lie…

Just so i never forget I keep my whistle in my tackle back you don’t want to forget it. I only wear a life jacket when going out into boat traffic, in back creeks never.
