Around the SW Banks 6/16, Goat Scape

Left the docks at 4:30. Put lines in the water at 110 ft, in about ten minutes had a triple hook up, boated two out of the three. Came back around at the temp break 75 to 77, right flat goes off, a whoo skies out of the water 15 ft loses the pink switch it hit in mid air, turns his body around on the way down still tring to bite the lure, lost him. Had sveral dolfin and whoos jumping at that time around the spread. Hooked up with a double brought two nice gaffers in. Made another pass thru the temp break caught one more dolfin and lost another whoo. Break moved so we did to. Picked up and ran just short fo the SW banks set out hooked up with a nice 25 lb dolfin this was caught by Katey a 14 year old on her second trip offshore, she did a great job and place second for that dolfin in the goat scape tourney. While figthting this fish we came on another boat fighting a bill fish hard, hope they got it and released it well. All in all we kept 9 dolfin, lost 4 whoos, had a sail come in and cut off the way back and one lost king inshore on the way back in. Great day on the water for two old guys and a freinds daughter, so the two tripples we had were alot of fun. Hot colors were black and purple, pink, purple, all fish were between 15 to 25 lbs. Tight lines everyone and sorry for the late post
