South Atlantic Council voted to open the red snapper fishery on a limited basis. Approximately 13,000 fish to be harvested for both recreational and commercial from NC to Key West.
Recreational will get one fish per person for a three day weekend starting hopefully sometime in August or September. Estimates are though this event will only last for three of these weekends before recreational is closed for ars.
On another note the ACL projection for the closure of the BSB is late August early September, then no more Black Sea Bass again till June 1st 2013.
Who do we vote for in November that is on our side Mark?

If Bo Peterson would write what I say to him rather than putting his own personal liberal spin on it (like he has done many times in the past) I would speak with him longer, but I have very little patience or time for a writer like this!
They can take this POS, trivial peace offering and shove it. Eff them, and the horses they rode in on…God help us if there is not a major change come November. If not, we are all going to have some tuff decisions on weather were going to keep fishing under these unbearable, crazy restrictions, or just be law breakers.
