Article in State paper

Somewhat sparse, but an explaination.

I haven’t been out in a few weeks, but I was surprised to see this in the paper. I hadn’t heard much about a fish kill and was thinking maybe we got a pass this summer. Anyone been out there lately? How’s it compare to some of the fish kills we’ve had in the past?

this is nothing new or to be alarmed by. it is an act of nature that occurs each year about this time with the different layers in the lake. mother nature pretty well takes care of this. this is not a bunch of fish that have been caught and released to die. as soon as it gets cooler then it will balance itself out.
