Ashley 11/16

My son and I fished the Ashley Sunday morning for a couple hours in the morning. Cold and rainy? Yes! Fish hungry? YES!!! We fished artificials only; Rapala shad rap, Texas rigged trick worms, and Trouteye jigs which accounted for most of the fish. I took my son a little while to get the right retrieve, but as you see he found it.

Totals were 14 reds, 4 trout, 2 stripers, and a largemouth

Heck of a day, I have two questions, both for Opti.

First off, is this a certified Margarita Slam!?

Secondly, how much $$ are you guys making off of those Trouteyes?

Unfortunately, no, it’s not a Margarita slam. Need a flatty :sunglasses:

As for your second question, they have really taken off because people who are using them are having better results. And, no, we are not quitting our day-jobs anytime soon. That would be great though! Maybe someday.

Man, I need to get some of those new jigs. That is all I keep hearing about the past couple months. Are they really that effective?
