I’m thinking of putting the canoe in and following the tide until it turns, and riding it back.
This time of year, what would be the thing to focus on? I don’t mind catching oddball stuff like mudfish/bowfin, anything for my son and I to have some fun with.
fish the steep edges of bluffs just up from jessen landing, cut bait on outside bends should be good for a few catfish… always worms or crickets for some float fishing around mouths of feeder creeks and heavy brush. hopefully the week of warm weather will help. good luck with your son, post a report if you try it.
