Ashley river launch

Wondering if anyone has put in around Cosgrove bridge to fish that area? Trying to find a place to launch from. Is the new park built yet? Thanks.

The new park appears to be under construction still. I went by there over the weekend and equipment was there for setting the pilings in place for the dock.

We’ve launched from that spot before - but never had much luck there. I don’t know what the status of the construction is but it looks like they still have a ways to go.

Pierpoint landing on Ashley River Road puts you on Church Creek which leads to Ashley right above Cosgrove.

it is a 1.5 mile paddle to get out of church creek to the river…and Church creek is north of the 526 bridge this is a few miles from the Cosgrove bridge. Just launch from the beach at the cosgove bridge and save yourself an hour of paddling
