Caught a couple croaker out at the folly pier and have no idea if you can keep them or anything. Can you keep them and if so are they good to eat?

If they’re eating size, keep them and fry them. Croaker has good meat on them and will be good just about however you cook them. Some people like to gut and scale them and grill or bake, filet and fry, or deep fry them whole.
Is there a certain size that they have to be or just big enough to eat?

no size or bag limit on croaker.
they’re in the drum family along with whiting, reds, black drum, trout, and spot
And if you catch whiting…now that’s some good eating!
