Atlantic Sharp Nose Sharks

Are the Atlantic Sharp Nose Sharks still in the Charleston Harbor ?

We have a Fishing Club outting this week

They are a great way to feed a bunch of people. The trick is: clean them right away on your boat and hang them over the side to let them bleed out. Soak in buttermilk over night.

Only eat fresh not frozen and they are delicious

Probably so, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t eat one though. Don’t think even buttermilk would help:stuck_out_tongue:

It’s also against our crazy laws to clean the fish on the boat, they have to be brought to the dock intact.

It’s within the law to gut and bleed fish on the water.

They aren’t horrible after buttermilk soak. The milk smells like urine when you are done. Texture like chicken, wigs me out a bit to eat it but fried people will eat it.

Why eat fish that you have to work to make it not taste nasty? Too many good fish out there

I refuse to eat with fried people.

Throw them back. They help thin out the BSB over population.

If two wrongs don’t make a right, try three.

Got me on that one… pretty funny.

If you want to feed a bunch of people, go catch a good mess of whiting. You should be able to catch them two at a time now.
Best fying fish around IMHO. :sunglasses:

Fried people will eat almost anything! Hide your potato chips…
