Todays charter was one of the best ever, we dropped lines in 140 ft and before last line was in, had a sail on the shotgun and mahi on flat line. Biggest sail I have ever caught in SC. Actions stayed hot and steady till after lunch, then went to only couple knockdowns rest of day. Ended with 4/6 on sails, all 4 of guys in charter landed a sail, 3 blackfin, 4 mahi and of course the mandatory barracudas.
Bite was great, fished on the ledge, 400 to 350 line, never went deeper that 250. Don’t know why no smiles, they had a great charter, dad, his two sons and son in law. We jumped off one sail and pulled another one off close to the boat.
Way to go Joe! Excellent hot weather day. I have a couple charters in the next couple weeks, hopefully we will experience some of the great fishing happening right now.
Excellent work, Adamada. They’re probably just not smiling because they are tired after catching those fish all day. Anyone should be more than happy with a day like that. I hope they left a hefty tip, because you deserved it.
