I’m in for that. I think a few may be out of towners so they can just mail them, but the Charleston group can get together and swap flies and stories over a few beers/sodas/whatever. How about Creekside Bar and Grill in Mt. P the first or second weekend of September?
I like the idea of getting together over some beverages for the swap. Let me know when and where.

Sounds like a plan - let me know the date so I can make sure I’ve got these flies tied. It’s a new pattern for me, but I think it’ll be great.
I think I may change my pattern. Its a super flashy minnow pattern using mylar tubing. Anyone know if they sell mylar tubing at the Angler in W. Ashley?
We still have few spots left if anyone else wants in.

that sounds great to me. hey t jack, if the angler does not, theflyshop.com has some awesome material (i think its montana fly co.) that has a laterial line (diff colors). it is good lookin stuff brother!
I didn’t know if I would have time, but I will get in for the electric chicken bonefish slider. I also like ribs and beer and being relatively new to the low country will be glad to meet some of the guys on the board.

Thanks Scotty d. The angler had a very minimal selection of mylar, but I picked up a few things. Sat down at the vice and created a complete mess. Back to the drawing board. I have a few ideas on how to make this thing work. I’ll try to tie up a few in the next few days and post a picture.
Count me in… Ive been workin’ on a new pattern anyway… I usually don’t name flies before they prove themselves worthy of said name, but in the spirit of why I came up with this fly we shall dub it the “Mondo Wando”… beer and ribs sounds down right nice!

Hey so I was just made aware that this was supposed to be a baitfish swap… The mondo is not a baitfish pattern per say… but then again its really not an immitation of anything in particular… I see the razmataz and bonefish slider on the list as well so I hope noone will be offended by me not following the rules… If so, sorry… you don’t have to swap with me I guess…
