I’ve got a pair of mxl’s that have been used once. They are loaded with 300 yards of 50 lb spectra. I would like to get 180 shipped each for them. I also have a pair of custom connley 15-30 live bait rods I could sell for 120 each but I would rather not ship these.

I was looking at these for potential bottom fishing rigs, but they seem to only have 9 lbs drag. Just curious, what are these typically used for? Like king setups?
Some of the more experienced guys can probably answer that question for you. I just used them to look pretty in the corner.

They’re really well made reels and are great for live baiting if you get the live baiting drag cams. Otherwise, the drag ramps up too quick. They’re really popular in the NE for striper and fluke.
