Started about 5:30 from landing as usual (NO dark running for my boat!)couple of cast for livebait and we were loaded for bear! Started trolling for Kings in about 65’ and within 10 minutes we had a smoker hooked, 35 pound king to the lady angler! High fives and continued trolling with no more results. Started bottom bumping around 110’hooked-up on variety of bottom fish, several AJ’s tested arms and rods (broke one of the star aerial heavy spinning rods. That was a fun fight, one person holding the rod piece and the other reeling in the line! ( needed a video of that one!)another great day on the water, beautiful ocean happy crew!!! Many big AJ’s, 12-ARS(released),pile of BSB, 8-big vermillion, two great trigger fish, couple of big porgy and one really nice King. Enjoyed every minute with happy bunch on board life is good!!!
