Just wondering if anyone on here has an axle grease that they prefer? I bought some from Advance/Autozone last year that was supposed to be marine worthy, but after the first trip out this year I think there’s more grease on the tire than in the axle, it didn’t help that the little rubber cap for the bearing buddy is split (anyone know if/where you can buy those).
Thanks,
Dave

I use Lucas heavy duty marine grease. Before I moved from DC I had my trailer bearings redone by a guy named duration who does all the boat US articles on trailers and that is what he told me to use.

I don’t think brand is your problem, you need to replace the cap.

Thanks for the info, I went with the Lucas, but with the Red & Tacky. It had good reviews and recommendations from another site and it did specifically state for boat trailers. The caps are getting replaced, but the other one on the left is split also but it sure didn’t run out like the right side.
Thanks again for the info.
