Fished in Awendaw yesterday for the first time in years. Managed enough moderately sided mullet to fish for the afternon. I fished a few spots, many oyster rakes or shell banks at creek mouths, and all I caught were baby sharks. Fished with popping corks and carolina rigs. After catching a couple of baby sharks I would move locations.
Generally, to yall move when this happens (catching baby sharks) or stick out an area?
Thanks
It seems they are everywhere right now. Tried to catch a few whiting Friday and all we could catch were small sharpnose sharks. Teh kids didn’t mind but I did.

I set up my light rig to catch them and it was actually fun to catch them on LIGHT tackle while your other baits soak out the back for spottails. My light rig: cabelas Im6 graphite rod 6'6" ml with 8 or 10# powerpro and a sienna 2500.
