Haven’t had time for the kayak for the last couple of months but made it out this morning just in time for some 10-15k NE winds. Fished Kiawah/Capt. Sam’s from 6:30 a.m. until 10:30 by then the tide was too high to get out of the wind. Picked at fish all morning couldn’t find any big schools. Ended up with 2 trout, 2 reds, 1 flounder and the daymaker, a large lizard fish. All fish were caught on gulp shrimp and released to fight again. Water has cleared up since last week. I was in the same area in the boat and it looked like chocolate milk. The wind settles down I hope the bite will pick up. Possibly go again Tues. and see.
