First trip out on the saltwater today after a long 9 months rebuilding the boat and replacing the lower unit. Hit the Wando after work. Bait was everywhere. Mullet of all sizes, shrimp, and crabs. Tried a variety of spots and eventually starting getting some bites on cut mullet on the bottom. Wind started picking up and the bite quit so I ended the day with 2 only trout and kept the 15" one for dinner. Boat and motor ran well for only the third time on the water. Still a few little things to work out but nothing that will keep me off the water.
