Back to the south tuesday July 2nd

Had a great day down near the Sow Pen fishing out of Bluffton. Got the old crew together and headed out for a long run in flat seas. Started out with miserable scattered weeds from 125 ft out to 200 ft and then found a nice weed line on a hard temp break which held really nice fish. Filled the box with some big ones most over 30 lbs and one right a 40. Nice surprise for this late in the year.

That first picture is awesome, and that trigger looks huge! Well done, sir.

“I’m not a hundred percent in love with your tone right now…”

Nice work! We headed south from Chs to the old NOAA buoy. Got a late start to wait the storms out. They stayed over the usuals chs offshore spots so I was glad we had S in mind. Took home two but lost at least 10 to short strikes and two at the boat. Only 2 of us on the boat and we pulled lines in at noon. Great day on the water.

Beautiful blue water and equally beautiful mahi.

Anybody need a serious photographer on board to get some great action photos of jumping fish?

So you filled the box with two fish

Mahi that is

Yes, we bring a really small box so I can always have a good chance at filling the box.
