East of Bomb Island hit something under water not marked. my new merc. 6 hours isnt new anymore . wasnt running but about 20mph but almost threw us out of boat. prop looks bad motor will crank but will not engage . Thanks to DNR for coming and taking my family and friends back to the landing .

glad you guys are all ok. sorry to hear bout the motor. at least the unreplaceable parts are safe.
I almost did the same thing last winter in the same area. Luckily there was grass sticking up from the lake being down the summer before. Plus I was only going about 5mph because i saw on the map that it was shallow.
