Bad start good ending

On time to the ramp, backed boat in started pushing off the trailer then when I jumped from the truck bumper to the dock I found out wet sandels were a bad idea. One foot made it and the other didn’t. That hurt[:0] But the day finished with my personnel best sheepshead.

A wise man once said “Do as I say not as I do” Good advice when I tell you that.

Lol you should have just told us that the sheepshead put up a tough fight that ended with a bloody knee  but I definitely understand the thing about slippery sandals.

Nice sheepshead, that will eat good :)!

Good job, Oops! And sorry about your “oops”…

Looks like a sheepshead bite to me! Congrats on the great sheepshead!

Nice war wound. You won that battle and now have a great scar to remember the fight!

shoot, if i were only at the ramp 3 minutes earlier… i could’ve watched the slip!!! ah well, good for you ya had the best net-boy and anchor ***** on the boat. meanwhile you forgot to tell everyone that we’re also frustrated that we couldn’t buy a red bite to save our lives in the stono.

Thank goodness you are OK, that could have been much more serious.

IM4USC… it did get more serious… he caught the only fish so his head got bigger boasting about it  Anyhow, it was a golf ball sized lump once I got there to hop in the boat with him. The swelling had started to go down but when we got the fish in the boat and it was thrashing he smacked the same knee on the bench and went from looking like a kid with a new bike on xmas to looking like he was about to crap himself. the pain didn’t last too long though and he was grinning all the way back to the ramp. it was literally the last minute at the last spot before calling it a day.

You must have bled in the water. We do better on sheeps when our knuckles get cut on opening oysters.
