Bahama blue?

I read a news article this morning saying that the water at Folly Beach has turned a clear Bahama blue color. They’ve got oceanographers trying to figure out why. That’s pretty cool!

Also saw where they shot a 10’ gator on the beach at Folly. Don’t understand why the gator needed shooting, unless the DNR was wanting some fried gator tail.

I saw it the other day but i was on the marsh side of the island on the southern end. I went to see if there were any fish in all that clear water.Ive never seen water that clear anywhere close to here and i believe that its more clear on the beach than on the back side of the island.

Same water further north. DNR is satisfying the business people.
