Bahamas in November?

Were taking a family cruise in early novemeber, leaving the 3rd and be in port the 4th and 5th. We are docking in Freeport and nassau from like 10-7 each day. I really really want to take a charter while there. Offshore is out the question though. My target inshore fish would be bonefish of course but I would love to siht cast to a tarpon or permit if available. Fly or non-fly, either way. Parents are concerned about going out with a random bohemian dude or getting back late and not making the boat. I know we are kind of far from the abacad and well know bonefish, is it even option to run a flats skiff to productive flats? What are some reputable charter guys? What can I expect to pay for a 2-3 people flats charter? Thanks! I posted here as well because I figured that a lot of people on this side of the board have been to the Bahamas.

I wouldn’t go with anyone unless you have references from someone
you know that has fished with them. I got a bad deal in Nassau
this summer when I depended on a website.

I’ve been there a few times. Try to pack a fishing rod and even a cast net if you can. You can catch plenty of fish from shore. You can also free dive the reefs for lobster etc. Take a snorkling trip to scout out the reefs and ask them if they will take you out fishing later. The Bahamas are relatively safe.

If two wrongs don’t make a right, try three.
