Bahamas Report - Pic intensive (can see now)

Went down to visit some friends at the Black Fly Lodge in the Abacos, Bahamas. Was a great trip despite some breezy conditions. Highlight was Mark (owner of Thomas and Thomas rods) landing 2 25# permit on fly within 2 hours of each other. That was a fun night of celebrating. Heres some pics. The skiff towards the end is the very first Hells Bay ever built. Pretty cool to get to touch. Pics are huge so give them time to load.

Great stuff Cap’n…but you really need to size down those multi-megapixel images before posting!

What part of the Abacos were you at? Reeeaaaalllly jealous because when I went last spring in Marsh Harbour our guide said that the flats were to low for permit…

Ahhhh roger. I had all those pages pre-loaded so didnt realize the size was coming across thattttttt huge. Better now?

We were in southern Marsh Harbour. About half way from the airport to the end of the island. We had high tides mid day which gave enough sunshine to see the permit at high sun and tailers at sunset for a few days.

STC,

You’ve definitively proven that it IS possible to come back from the dead. How many people get to experience Heaven AND take pics?..
