Please give suggestions for which island, resort, or whatever for an anniversary long weekend. Fishing maybe, beaches for sure, safety a must, nightlife not necessary, suggestions? Tx

Check out Treasure Cay in the Abacos. Its a nice resort with plenty of beaches and the fishing is outstanding. They run fishing charters out there pretty frequently. My girlfriend has a place down there and they fish out of Abaco a lot and never seem to complain.

Man, I need a girlfriend with a place in the Bahamas.

Yeah it’s a really nice place down there. The fishing is amazing and if you cross from the tip of florida and it’s not that long of a ride, depending on the boat your in.

We are heading to Bimini on May 19th. Trailering down to Fort Lauderdale and crossing. Staying at Big Game Club

Capt and the kids, went that route years ago during college in a 35’Beneateau sailboat with 5 buddies.Was a great expierence never do that again, sailboat just not my style. Be careful crossing the triangle[:0]

Be sure to carry you trusty sidearm. It’s legal to carry you just need to declare it at customs. Yes there are pirates and you need to lock up when not in the boat. We were anchored outside West End, four boats together and they got all 4 dingy’s.
