I have 3 bags of baitbinder left over from three years ago. Anyone know how to tell if it is still good for shrimp’n?? The last two years I wasn’t able to go as much as I anticipated…I’ve kept the bags in a cooler under the house so it has been in a semi temperature controlled environment. Any help appreciated…
Smell it, if it smells like ammonia dump it. If it smells like dead fish should be good.

If you are wondering if it’s bag or good, then it’s good. You would definitely know if the bait is bad. Use it.

Using Bait binder How long ahead of time can you make bait balls? If I am going tonight can I make bait balls 3 or 4 hours before time ?? How long with the bait balls be usable ?

i would imagine they would dry out and fall apart that far in advance. They’re typically pretty easy to make on the ride out.
