anyone try to throw a small net from their yak? Or is it better to find land out there and toss from there?

I try to throw from my kayak, but it is definitely way better to get onto solid ground. I am just going to keep practicing on my kayak until I get good at it.

I prefer to stake out in shallow water and stand and throw mine. I have a malibu stealth so its convenient being able to lift the cast net and drop the bait right into the livewell.
