Went out to the Reservoir Saturday evening and put a slight whoopin on the green alien bucketmouths in my neighbors new BassCat. Hadn’t done that in a long time and it was a blast, with great weather to boot. They were eating anything green. Went back to the salt Sun morning and of course it’s cold and windy now. Ended up doing pretty good working baits on the bottom and under slip corks at 4ft. Water was fairly clear and 61-64°. Tide was coming in and with the wind it seemed like the current never stopped on the switch, caught fish the whole time. Ran out of bait, caught a few on arties and called it a morning, home and cleaned up by 1230.
Nice job and thanks for sharing the pics. What you feeding that Cat?! Bass Bite in the pond wasn’t too bad yesterday afternoon on a beetle spin (white/red dot) none over 3/4lb.
19!! Didn’t know they lived that long!! We just lost two pen deer 21 & 19 years old. I wouldn’t have thought they would live that long. Our little Yorkie is 16 and going strong. Pets sure do make up the family in a lot of cases. Hope your cat has many more healthy years!
