Yesterday I went to catch some large mullet for cut bait but i also caught about 10 shrimp in about 10 cast. I lost a bunch out the net because its not a small holed net. They were about 3 inches average size. I caught some baby 2 inch mullet also but most slipped out the net. The mullet are usual but the shrimp were a surprise. I don’t remember catching shrimp in April before.
Was getting a few in the cast net @ folly 2 weeks ago. Average size were about 5".
Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.
I fished the upper Wando near mt pleasant and I was catching shrimp in bunches. All about 3". I was very surprised. That’s probably why I only caught 2 reds and 2 trout.

Bait was to scattered for me. Gonna give it another week or two. I thought that mid May was shrimp time. Might give it a shot this week.
