Bait - need a quick answer

Is there still plenty of mullet/shrimp in the creeks?

Or should I buy bait?

With NO HELP FROM YOU GUYS:
Ended up with some of all from noon to dark
Reds
Black
Sheep
Flounder
Trout
Oysters and clams

nice job. Wish I knew. I was down there a week ago and could still get shrimp and mullet in jones creek. Seems to be almost gone in murrells inlet though

were you able to find any bait down there?

We threw the net a few times but got 0 shrimp
However as we fished we did see some shrimp and finger mullet but they were sparse.
Water is getting that winter clarity to it

SERIOUS… That day there were boats every were and NOBODY was catching…The bait was gone and if we had not brought some we would have been SOL…:face_with_head_bandage:

If the bait is gone they should be hitting the soft plastics…if they are still around. Fresh dead bait works well also under a cork.
