Just a example of what i caught in the net today at low tide. All are excellent baits to use or imitate right now.
Been catching menhaden, greenbacks and ribbonfish earlier in the week, kinda disappeared the last couple of days
Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.
The one on the bottom right looks like a baby striped bass.
You killed the only surviving shrimp.

I`ve always wondered what they were also? Their always in the sand in a couple inches of water like beach type area and similar mud minnow strong lil things and last forever like a mud minnow.

Very similar catch in my nets today. Found a deeper pool that had a couple dozen finger mullet. Caught 4 reds today with the mullet, and the crabs always get the smaller bait I throw out. Starting to see more creek shrimp move in. Maybe I’ll be able to put the DOA shrimp to work.
Did the lighter still work?
Did I ever tell you about the time I caught a Zippo?Seriously though, plenty of shrimp to be caught in the creeks right now.
