Just got the new tags the new season must run all year.
Already a couple months wasted, need to get the boat ready as soon as possible
wow! I got some a few years ago that had the wrong dates on them, got a new (correct) set in the mail a couple weeks after that.
begs the question: what do you do if the season opens before you get the right ones? suppose you could go to the Fort Johnson office if you’re near Charleston.
If I had those I might be able to cooler out. Season total.

Yeah I guess I get to shoot 8 does this year as well. Went and got my license and Doe Tags back in June, and got another set in the mail yesterday.
I have the same dates on mine. I guess I’ll go tomorrow night!

I called DNR today. I told the guy thanks for the year around shrimp baiting tags. He laughed and said, “Go ahead and try it”. He said the tags with the incorrect dates were sent to 27 people. They are sending me new tags with the correct dates today.

Maybe they heard you guys were horrible shrimpers and were giving you some extra time!
I wouldn’t say horrible, I call it persistent.
Skinneej, they must have seen my freezer from last year. We didn’t find them until the last few days of the season. I could have put a few extra days to good use after the season closed!
