A store owner gave me an old but nice bait tank. I want to keep mud minnows in it. Does anyone know what the baitshops feed the mudminnows?

They usually don’t have to feed them because they are sold off before they need it. Or they turn cannibalistic and feed on dead minnows. We used to feed dead shrimp as well from the shrimp tank when business was slow. could probably throw some dog food or something of the sort in.
