Bait Tank Report

Everything worked great! The boat planed off fine even with a full 50 gallons. At half full, the difference in top end was negligible. At full load, I still got 44 mph with no noticeable plowing or handling issues. I did put a beach towel under it as Rick suggested and installed 2 500 pound ratchet straps. When I tighten em down, the tank’s going nowhere. I very pleased! You guys had me worried… a little:smiley:

I also limited in 30 minutes with 1 downrod and a BP on a 70 foot hump off the channel—21 to 24 inch fish. Pics on FB.

how about a pic of it installed- I need to do the same thing

Here’s the pic he sent me …

Does it not splash a lot in rough water?

Doesn’t seem to, but it wasn’t rough at all Saturday. I did go over with some sizable boat wakes. Tank is well sealed.

When I fish bait, my tank sits right in front of my console on my flats boat. My console is really low and I don’t remeber ever getting any splashing in my face with either tank I have used.
