Was wondering if anyone uses sabiki rigs to catch bait or something else? Do you look for bait on the finder or just pull up to 1 of the cans for bait? Haven’t been able to fish with live bait offshore yet and just looking for some guidance. Thanks to everyone so far.

Once the menhaden show up, I typically look for schools of them in the rivers or nearshore where birds are diving and use a cast net. If things are slow on the nearshore reefs we will drop a sabiki rig over the structure and catch them that way.
