Does anyone care to comment on the right way to put a shrimp on a hook? My brother in law insists the best place is through the tail. I think under the hard shell just behind the head.

live I’ll hook thru the tail or under the horn. Be careful not to hit the neural tube/mass and they stay alive long enough to get eaten.

I hook shrimp in the last section by the tail and hook minnows by the tail. They seem to live longer for me and the minnow flops around more.
