Clean and pluck the 3 Hairy Heads you thought were Wood Ducks at 5 min. past shooting time. Soak them in Buttermilk for 2 days. Rinse, salt and pepper to taste, and stuff them with pearl onions.
Place the Mogans on a 3/4" thick piece of treated plywood and bake for 2 hrs @ 350 degrees. Remove ducks from oven and let them cool for 10 min. When cool “to- the- touch” throw the ducks in the wastebin and eat the plywood.
Especially good if matched with a full handle of Jack Daniels and a cigar.
