Barbados fishing

I will be in Barbados for 10 days ON a school trip. I will have some free afternoons and was thinking about trying to do some charter fishing while there. Any of you guys been or know any good charters to try to contact.

I have a buddy who just got back from fishing there. Will get his contacts. He had to do some research to get them. They have stellar wahoo fishing, decent dolphin, but the marlin are a little more hit or miss.

If you got time to lean, you got time to clean.

We had a blast, even though we only got a single Wahoo. It was so nice to be dropping lines within about 10 minutes of leaving the docks! The Captain was great and the deckhand has lived one heck of a life and shared some great stories.

I agree on Ocean Hunter (sportfishingbarbados.com). Robbie uses Tiagra 80ws for Marlin and International 50ws for wahoos on the ledge (most boats there were using 4/0 Senators for wahoos). USMC Silver is right, Arthur the mate is worth the price of admission alone.

The bite can be amazing depending on what time of year you fish.

Shoot me a PM and I can give you more details.
