BARF II Pre-fish Lowcountry Slam

Went out Sunday morning for 3 hours, to pre-fish the Hunting Island Lagoon for the upcoming (Nov 4) BARF II get together. The weather was perfect, and the tide was last our outgoing and first incoming.

Caught everything on Paddle Tail Electric Chicken on a 1/4 Oz Chartreuse Jig and 6 lb mono. Final total:

21" Redfish
17" Seatrout
15" Seatrout
14" Flounder

My fishing partner (Murrayfisherman from KFS) used the same jig on 12 or 15 lb test, and caught:

19" Seatrout
15" Seatrout
14" Bluefish

I lost a 18+" Seatrout at the yak trying to use the lip grippers to land it (First time using the darn things…) and my fishing partner lost a 12-13" flounder at the yak.

The November 4 get together looks like it will be VERY Successful. Hope to see some of you all there.

My buddy Kevin and son, Reed, will be 2 sites down and I believe Troy has a few friends camping also. Sure hope we have some nice weather.
