We have a SCKF guest (KayakCowboy) staying out at Fripp island this week, and I told him I would try to arrange a gathering for Saturday morning this week.
I went fishing last Sunday with him, his brother and Critterguy (From SCKF), and caught a nice 19" Flounder, two small 12" Redfish, two 18" Ladyfish, several smal Bluefish and a tiny Oyster Toadfish after launching from Russ Point. KC caught some 12-13" Black Drum and other fish. Critter caught some trout.
So we plan on going out this Saturday morning to catch the Low tide in the morning… Plans are to meet at Russ Point around 0700 and fish the last two hours of the outgoing and first two of the incoming. Low Tide is 0951. We will be of the water just as it is getting hot around noon…
Feel free to join us if you can.

I plan on being there, rain or shine.
Now we all know Troy, and how much he like to fish in the weather.

Define Rain or Shine?
Wind <= 15 Knots… No problem. >=15 Knots, depends on where fishing.
Light Rain … No problem… Heavy downpours, depends on what I am wearing.
Thunderstorms with Lightning…Screw you, I ain’t going out in it.
Funny S1tPilot is the one talking so much crappo… Mr. I don;t fish north of the Mason Dixon line! :-p

If I can’t get up and order grits for breakfast, don’t see any need to be there much less fish.

Well, most of the people came home needing a bath in Tomatoe Juice!
There were 5 anglers total, myself, S1TPilot, Semperfish, atrailblazer and Rick (Can’t remember his login)…
I went straight to my Honey-Hole, a small low tide pocket about 4’ deep with no entry for Mr. Pospoise to get in and killed em…
Caught over 10 puppy Reds (11-13" range), one nice 14" Whiting, about a dozen large Croaker (11-12" range), and even more smaller croaker, and some pinfish in the 7" range… All on pieces of shrimp on a Stinkeyfingers PRS…
I was one of the only ones using bait though…
I know Rick and S1TPilot stunk… Atrailblazer caugth some baby Blacktips, and Semperfish stayed after everyone else left, and most likely in true Semperfish fashion caught a slew… He found a fishy looking HoneyHole, and was going to see what he could catch there.
